Sri Lankans in Jaffna thank General Fonseka

Large crowds of Sri Lankans who attended the Nalur Kowil (temple) ceremony in Jaffna have thanked General Fonseka for lifting the curfew.

Last Saturday General Fonseka visited the peninsula and ordered his men there to lift the curfew.

The General who guided troops to rescue more than 300, 000 Sri Lankans held captive by the most brutal terrorists is equally concerned about the welfare of all Sri Lankans, regardless of ethnic group.

On Wednesday the Nalur Kowil hosted the biggest festival the North has seen in many decades since terrorism took hold of the region.

Many Sri Lankans who attended the festival wanted to personally thank General Fonseka for his proactive measures to help the people in Jaffna.

Readers,

Fonseka2010 is a LTTE terrorist trying hard to create a crack in GOSL for their own benefit.

I have the records that "Fonseka 2010" appeared in DefenceWire as:

"ArmyLK"
"Buddha"
"nangige huththa"
"Lion Flu"
"පරන්ගි"

Insulting everything from Buddhist monks to our soldiers to Sinhalese were his past habits. Please handover any available information of the LTTE terrorist Fonseka2010 to authorities. World is better with one less terrorist.

Dear Sam,

'Koti' has long been the excuse used by politicians in power to sideline their critics.

We are not offended by your allegations, for we know that they are figments of your imagination.

As a fellow Sri Lankan who should have genuine interest in the progress of our country, we kindly request you to make positive contributions.

For example, do you agree with the five points manifesto posted by the "People's Fonseka 2010" team? Would you suggest any changes?

We hope that those who are still hallucinating about 'koti' in every corner would realise that thanks to General Fonseka and valiant members of our armed forces, we are today in a position to discuss the future of our country, beyond the terrorist threat that plagued our country for so long.

Thank you for visiting our campaign blog.

We hope to hear from you.
